This is the plant that flowered late December last year , but it has now developed two flowering stems.
This is the earliest one I have ever grown

Now that is a good question , I would say early as it did flower late December in 2012.

I havnt a clue ;) how the red acer leaves and Forest pansy leaves landed in the right spot :dunno:

                    G. reginae-olgae will flower perhaps as early as late October (its flowers come before leaves). Too early for me ... I like them to be part of a winter scene - bit like growing a really early Parsnip variety and then eating them in the Summer - wrong season, no thanks!

                    G. elwesii 'Remember Remember' flowers ... round about 1st week of November, and G. plicatus 'Three Ships' normally at Christmas :)

A couple of mine (in pots) are in bud, but they are in the lee of a North wall so probably won't come into flower soon without some more sun
