2 Colours

    This plant has 2 different colours. Has this happened before to this plant.

    Hi jd67. I think that is unusual for a foxglove. Sometimes flowers start one colour and as they start to fade the colour changes, but that doesn't seem to be happening here.

    It does happen occasionally with plants, when one branch has flowers of a different colour. Its called a 'sport', and if you take cuttings of the unusual colour, you can often propagate plants that keep that colour. This is how some of the cultivated colour variations have come about.
