I had a mosey over the gardens today to try to get a few things done.Over the last couple of days i`ve been jotting things down, ideas for next yr,etc.I was over earlier on in the week to get the sweetcorn to freeze but i was in a hurry and kind of had the blinkers on.Just sort of waded in and got the job done. I`ve been busy lately and things are just about back to normal so i thought, right, lovely day i`ll tidy up a bit. :D
I am still shocked at the state of it.
I hope the weather stays fine cause it`s gonna take me a week just to get shot of the nettles.
    Talk about feeling overwhelmed.
Anybody know where i`m comming from?

Sure do. Gardening is a wonderful hobby. But you can't just wander around once a month with a hoe. It is a permanent battle between gardener and weed, and slug and snail etc. We're all looking out for next years plans but getting rid of this years pests is the real problem. But we just have to keep on trucking. I'm thinking of giving up gardening and taking up crochet. [IMG] [IMG]

I've got a few good patterns for you, S - just ask! ;)

Know exactly what you mean, Elaine - I've spent most of my time looking after everyone else's gardens, and now have to get all the unnecessary greenery out of my own
