Well, considering we did not know what we were doing when we started out, it's not too bad! Now we need to plant plenty of high growing shrubs and some climbers all along the outside to make it a bit more pleasant to look at - and an interior decorator needs to come by - with an eye for detail, cats point of view!

That's the balcony we built first, connected to the dining room window - we do not have a cat flap and to install one would have been double complicated, as the door to the garden is glass and also the layout of the garden makes it tricky.

That's seen from the house - the area between the house and the enclosure now needs to be tackled, cleaned up and planted!

That's seen from the end of the garden towards the house - well, the beans already hide one of the posts nicely! We chose flimsy netting instead of more rigid wire mesh on purpose - the catsgrab this stuff once and it nearly collapses on them - and they never touch it again! Works perfectly!

And that's Emily - the kitten I got after my dear Diego was killed, to ease the pain a bit. She is now 12 weeks old and soooo attached - we also got her brother, but he is more fixed to my husband!

We name the enmclosure the "Diego Memorial Enclosure" - and the cats loved their "test run" this afternoon!

    Oh Wishaw,
Emily is GORGEOUS!!! My 2 are the same colouring but not fluffy like her, and one generally spoils her pics by having something dead hanging from her mouth :D So glad you've found love after Diego [IMG]
