Looks like some kind of ginger to me, (Hedychium).

But which one is really only possible to ascertain once its flowered.

It needs frost protection in winter, when it can be kept dry and allowed to die down.

They have been out side in the same pot for 2 years .
    I have a conservatory.
Should I move them in there first sign of frost & just hope ?

Move them in undercover before the first frost, and dry off the pot, if kept cool no water will be required during the winter.

You could once dry cut down the stems to ground level, as they will not continue to grow next year.

You have been very lucky for them to have survived a winter like last years outside in a pot.

If strongylodon has ID it correctly, which I'm sure he has, you should be looking at something like this late next summer
