    Hi Folks.

I thought I'd start a thread where we could post what we're up to, with regards to veg growing, just general stuff. I thought too that it would be useful for future reference, a bit like a diary? It might also be useful for beginners.

Anyway, we'll see how it goes:)

I've been quite busy today. Sowed some more onions, Long Red Florence and Sante in the greenhouse. I also transplanted some onion seedlings into root trainers, just to see if there's any benefit from using them. Ah yes, sowed my Broad Beans, Masterpiece Green Longpod, again, into root trainers. Parsnips sown into toilet roll cores.

    Cheers...Freddy

Good idea Freddy, especially with me being one of the beginners :)

My onion seeds were sown about three weeks ago now (is it really that long?), and are now out in the slightly cooler front porch.

Leeks (Musselburgh) sown yesterday, as were my Super Hot Chilli (same as last year), and my Lemon Chilli (from Real Seed Catalogue, so hopefully will be able to harvest a chunk of seeds for forthcoming years and to pass on) [hark at me, they haven't even germinated yet and I have got them not only bearing fruit, but harvesting seeds too!]
