2017 Tour de France

Umm...If anyone's interested in seeing my local area, the next stage of the Tour de France starts from Eymet at around 1pm tomorrow. Shortly followed by Miramont de Guyenne, my local town. They then head for Marmande, home of the famous tomato.
You might get an idea of the native flora under all the tissue-paper roses

 

I'll have a look on TV tomorrow . Never quite sure what is happening in a big cycle race.

 

If I can get close enough for all the motorhomes, @JWK! Three years ago they passed by 2kms from our house, so we duly stood at the side of the main road for two hours (on the principle that they'd never pass this way again) in the pouring rain. Thirty seconds of blurred colours later, it was all over My dear departed Mum used to watch it avidly on TV as it was a stress-free way to see lots of the country without having to move a muscle
@HarryS, Apart from the occasional falling off/over, it's all about forward motion/furious pedalling by loads of skin-tight-Lycra-clad blokes..think that just about sums it up
