2nd earlys seed potatoes

    Hi Im new to gardening could anyone give me some advice on 2nd early seed potatos to grow in my poly tunnel whats the best variety & where to buy them from as all the garden centers around here dont have any.
    I was hoping for new spuds for xmas ?

      Welcome to Gardeners Corner Madmick.

      Kristen is right with august, if you plant them now you will have big potatoes for Christmas rather than the smaller new ones.

      My august planted Charlottes last year got the late blight so I didn't bother looking for spuds at Christmas.

      I should of, as I discovered a good crop of new potatoes there whenI dug the bed over in feb:DOH:
