Even though it's very cold...there is still joy in the garden.

John, several of us got into painting last year ... horrors ...

We have all sorts of winter hobbies when you can't do gardening. Some of us took up photography. [IMG]

What a great display Roders thankfully without any of those nasty unnaturel coloured heathers, that cyclamen looks stunning but I could be just saying that because it's my favorite colour girly pink! :D

Roders, that's really lovely. i was going to ask what they were cos i don't know much, never i hear you say!! but Helen sorted that out for me, i love those heathers.

this morning a friend brought round some ivy in hanging baskets so i have some more green in the garden. the geranium is still in flower so that's abit of colour & i have a couple of 'stagnent' (is that spelt right? doesn't look like it!) marigolds. they are small flowers but just remain the same - since the summer! the person that brought them is into gardening & since i've got into it myself this year, has given me a few plants. Next year i'm getting some more too [IMG]

i think i will get some heathers next year as well, won't look as good as yours but i am trying - yes, i know, very!

    Cheers
    Sandra
