:help:I took my Fire Bellied Toads to work in July to keep them out of the way while we moved. The Greenhouse was naturally a lot warmer than our house which caused one of them (I thought they were all male) to come into breeding condition for the first time and hey presto! two batches of tadpoles during August.

Here is one of the first batch (of 12) just starting to show colour. The other 38 or so are just metamorphasising. Good job I have a supply of Aphids for food as that is all they can manage for now.

They are gorgeous, Strongy. What are you going to do with them all? Will you have to move again to accommodate them?

Marley, the first ones are back home, the others will have to join them as they need a temp of 20-25c and the greenhouse (1/4 acre one at work) will only be heated to 10c.
Clara, we hope to move to the Bungalow we are buying next month and I will have to sort out their living quarters. They will need to be separated into small groups to avoid overcrowding (social issues:D)
Later they will feed on pin head size crickets and when big enough small worms and wood lice as well as medium crickets. I have had two of them sixteen years now and can live for twenty, they are a long lived amphibian.:)

Strongy, that is quite some commitment! Can they be persuaded to consider birth control next time?

Clara, once I have them back home at a slightly lower temperature they won't breed.

Mira, if they all survive, and that is not guaranteed, I will sell them but they will have to be at least a year old to do that.

            Nice photos of the Frogs.

Toads not Frogs BG (sorry I'm being picky:D), I have lost a few due to cannibalism but that is natural and I don't yet have enough housing to separate them into small groups. I hope to get another small aquarium soon.
