    collecting a 8x6 greenhouse next saturday spotted it on gumtree £10, has 6 pieces of glass missing, still a bargain

      Like most of us, I bet as soon as you get it up and running you wished you had a bigger one.:smile:
      Sounds like a bargain although horticultural grade glass is not cheap.

      6 Pieces of glass, new clips entirely needed, about 100,
      261144397786 did a quick search on ebay, might order some of those myself.
      for another £50 bargain indeed.

      Just found a company in stockport who do greenhouse glass for £2.95 for a 2'x2' piece of 3mm glass, bargain. so including clips, my greenhouse should cost me less than £50.

        That's very good. I remember when I got a free greenhouse from a friend, it needed a few new panes so I went to a local glass company without first getting a price, I thought it would only be a few quid so didn't bother asking, I was quite shocked as they charged me about £60 for 5 panes. Taught me a lesson to always ring around first.

        Got it in home, its all in pieces in my car, just glad i'm good at doing flat pack, just needs cleaning with the jet washer.
