Thought I'd continue my garden progress on a new thread as some of the pictures on the original one aren't my garden! I don't mind the compliments but really - I didn't do the work and don't deserve them!!

So... this was the plot with the first lot of plants in

    [IMG] [IMG]

I made a bit of a mistake by filling in the gaps with cosmos and asters grown from seed, resulting in a bit of a messy look...

I took out the tired violas and busy lizzies today and replaced them with some primroses and pansies. My dad and I went halves on them - Jersey Direct. £20 for 140 plants!

I get at least 1 compliment from passers by whenever I spend a little time out there. Here's a lovely coloured cosmos...

Thanks folks! It smells lovely in the night as the evening scented stocks get going! We picked fragrant pansies too, so they'll take over. My dahlias are lovely deep red but a bit short - had to buy a new vase to bring the blooms inside! [IMG]

...and my tiger lilies have proved me wrong and gone and flowered - but the blooms only last a day!!
