A climber for the gazebo as well as - or instead of - honeysuckle

    I set-up a gazebo last year and now think it would be nice to have a climber like honeysuckle - but wonder whether anyone has an idea if there are other interesting climbing plants instead of, or as well as, honeysuckle.

    Roses are out as it is under a cherry tree and probably wouldn't get enough sun.

    All suggestions gratefully received

    Clematis, which would scramble upwards in search of sunlight. Lots of colours and flowering times to choose from. Make sure the roots are shaded - stones/pebbles/pot shards would do the job fine on top the soil where it's planted, but if it's in shade anyway, you might be fine.
