A Couple More for You

    Hi All

    A couple of mystery plants have begun sprouting - could you let me know what they are? The third picture is a close up of the leaves of the plant in the second picture - our best guess so far is "some kind of fruit". :)

    I only recognise the first one - Peony. The other two look familiar, but not sure what!

      Number one is a Peony and number two are Raspberries.
      You need to prune the old dead raspberry canes to ground leave (they should have fruited last year) tie in those nice new shooting canes and the new basal growth will grow up this year ..

        Thanks for the advice davy, I had cut some of the canes back but there were ladybirds living on the others so I've left them there for now. :)
