First of im sorry if i have posted this in the wrong bit. right iv just moved into my first place and the people who lived here before me where a old cople and by the looks of things they fell behind with the garden big time. All down one side is weeds some where upto 5ft so iv cut them down and put weed killer on them but they just keep comming back

is there anything i could get that would kill them and also make the soil bad so nothing could grow on there as im planing to put crushed slate where they are anyway.

And next door ( who is a pain and hate me already ) have got a really big tree and one of the branchs is over on my side of the garden is it ok for me to cut the branch down? I have tryed speaking to them but all I get is told to go away

I thought anything overhanging into your garden you are entitled to cut.

Try Pathclear for the weedy area, needs to be diluted!

But you need to offer the cut pieces back to your neighbour as they are legally theirs!

Before going that route, try a bit more reasoning with your neighbour, as falling out with them is not a great idea, especially when you have to live next door.

It's obviously Neighbourliness Day, what with Noo-noo and the incredible garden-flattening driver and now Cubeykc and the warm, welcoming folk next door.

Sussexgardener is right. It's worth trying to keep things reasonably sweet if you can. I lived next door to a very difficult situation for a long time, and eventually had to take action ... but it's not something I'd ever want to go through again ...
