A dead deutzia?

Morning all,
I planted these four deutzia at the same time. Should I replace the third one or wait a bit longer?

 

They look rather close together to me (and close to the fence, probably close enough that the grass and stuff on the other side is competing for moisture etc). Unless you want them to grow into each other I wouldn't bother with a replacement.

 

Thanks Jenny, I was hoping they’d grow into each other so I’ll maybe just wait and see how the other 3 do.
