Seriously longing for spring now, its dark when I leave for work, its dark when I get home. Weather at the weekends has been mostly awful for several months and have only managed to get out in the garden once, last week, to have a tidy up.

So lets post a few pics to brighten up the long, cold winter days!

Good to see the snowdrops in there @Anthony Rogers. :) I've moved home quite a few times and not one of my gardens have had snowdrops. I tried to grow them in my last garden but they didn't survive.

                Hi @Sheal ,

Sorry, they're not Snowdrops. They're Leucojum Gravetye Giant. They grow about 18/24" high and are commonly called Summer Snowflakes as they flower in May/June.

                    I can't grow them Sheal.
As you know I've only got pots etc and they don't seem to like them. I've tried bulbs and growing " in the green " but they always die.

It's funny we're talking about Snowdrops as I've just had the new Avon Bulbs catalogue and some of them cost £120 EACH for 1 bulb.

I found them hopeless in pots too but I'm determined to give them another go in my eventual, new garden. :) I agree, some of them are ridiculous prices but I won't be spending my pocket money on those, I prefer the more humble flowers.

If I had more money than sense I still wouldn't buy one bulb with a 50-50 chance of it surviving!:)
