    Hi all,

A few more questions again if I may?

The first 2 relate to plant ID.

    What are these 2 please?

First image is a low ground covering plant which is in full sun from about 10:00 until sunset. Growing through gravel.

Second plant is in a rather sheltered location and in full shade from about 11:00. Currently around 8ft tall.

...and my final question. I bought various pots of big daisys of varying colour. Are these perennial or will I need to buy more next year?

    Thanks once again!!!

Sorry, I can't identify either of those but no doubt other members will. :) There are many types of daisy like flowers so it's impossible to say whether they are perennials. Have you any pictures of them in bloom so we can identify them please?

      Argyranthemums, tender perennials.
Sorry do not recognise the first ones though.

Cheers Palustris - prose excuse my ignorance as I'm very new to anything horticultural. This means they'll come back next year provides they are protected from Frost etc?

Yes, if you are lucky. We have never managed to keep the original plant over winter, but cuttings do survive quite easily, in the same way as Pelargoniums do.
