The sun was spotted over Yorkshire today, so the plan was a trip out over the moors to the coast.
    It was wonderful.
Please share these pictures with me. The coast is Sands End just North of Whitby. The others are across the North York moors heading south.

    Grand day out part two.
Sun was out again, so a trip out was on the agenda.
Called in to Lightwater valley for little shopping and on across the Dales to Pately Bridge and home.
It a bit misty to start out but turned out nice with some heat haze.

Lightwater Valley shopping. very quite and covered. It would be nice if all shopping was like this

This place was so quite it felt like I was polluting the place by simply breathing.

Somehow missed this capney ... lovely photos, even the foggy ones as I don't see that here in the South .... thanks for sharing. :)

PS Love the sentiment on the second to last photo with the stone wall .... we have dry stone walls here too and I often feel like you say when I am up in the hills ..... speechless and breathtaking ..... one of life's real pleasures .... :thumb:
