Throughout my Life I have met and known a lot of people, some who were briefly in my life and some who stayed in. But in all that time it was rare that I met a person who became a Benchmark in how to live Life, respect other people, raise a fantastic family, have honour and humour, and a ability to make you smile when you think of them, and, I guess, also becoming to me a Hero in Life. It was an event that rare that I have only met two people who have become my Hero's........and yesterday I, and his family, lost one of them. So I just want to say I am going to miss this ordinary extraordinary man who gave people ,and his family, standards to follow while cracking incessant jokes with a impish grin and a twinkle in his eye. Any person who, when you have lost them but are remembering them, makes a smile automatically come to your face is an extraordinary person and he was most definitely an extraordinary man who made no claims to be being so. But I, like everyone who knew him, smile on remembering him and that can't be a bad legacy.

Those that go through life with a smile, despite the ups and downs they meet are rare indeed and they warm the hearts of those around them on their way. I'm sorry to hear of your loss Armandii. Your friend's smile will remain with you and your memories of him.
