I was just reading Lyn's thread about Molly & thinking about losing my poor old Charley last year & Vicky's cat suddenly too last year...

I know it is a delicate subject but would you like a " Loving Memories" thread or a similar named thread where you could all post a photo of your pet & say something about them & their passing away as a lasting memory to them on GC..??

Tell me what you think folks.. :sunny:

      I think it's a lovely idea. :dbgrtmb:

You may want to set a few rules about postings. Do we just restrict it to In Memorium postings or not? Otherwise you may get lots of, well meant, peoples' comments and lose the original posts amongst them. Maybe another thread can be started for people to put their comments.

Yes shiney I was thinking of doing it like that..
In the memorium thread would be the owners posts only with the photos of the pet & the accompanying thoughts & memories or whatever they wanted to say about each pet... Then any comments any of us, owners as well, want to leave are all to be left in a separate, but linked thread.. Does that about right..? :sunny:

Hi Caz, yes I know all our pets are at the Rainbow Bridge, but we cannot call ours that as it is a copyrighted name...
We could have the "Rainbow Garden" as we are a gardening forum... What do you think.?

Oh, yes please. I didn't realise that 'Rainbow Bridge' was copyrighted. Love the 'Rainbow Garden' idea. So many of us just want to express the love we feel. I understand about how each tread/post (still don't know the difference) has to be though, cos like you said it could go all ways.
Hope I'm not too late to voice my opinion on this.
                  Hey Marley, you're a goodun x
