This is at the bottom of the main road in Bridport.

Bit difficult to get far enough back from it on this side.

The outlet on the lower side.

And a bit further upstream, some Crow Garlic grows wild beside the river.

No I meant it in a nice way  i.e. a nice old building with a bit of character.

Never been to Bridport, Ziggy. We've got some water powered Mills around here, although there are a lot more around Derbyshire where it's getting into the Peak District.

Bridport looks fairly interesting, how old is it, I hope it hasn't got any new build around it because that always takes away the character of the place!

    I know John, only joking:heehee:

Its a lovely place Armandii, there is the inevitable new build but its very mixed in with the old in places.

The town dates back to the 9th century. Its at the confluence of 2 rivers, The Brit and The Asker, so there are a few mills around.

    Palmers Brewery being one,

This is 5 minutes walk from me.

I'll take a few more shots when I go into town next. There is a wonderfull area of small shops & businesses that occupies the old rope making quarter. Bit like "The Shades" in the discworld series.:heehee:

I'm definitely going to have to have a "wander" around the area!! You're a lucky man living in such a lovely and interesting area, Ziggy.
