My name is Mary [Hoka on the internet] and I'm new to gardening. I've had my garden put down to gravel and one small paved area, so I am a "container only " gardener. I watch Gardeners' World avidly- apart from being useful it's very relaxing.
My garden could be described as a courtyard. It faces south and is a sun trap. I love Italy [Rome] and Germany [Bavaria], so I'm trying to make my garden a reminder of these places. Loads of bright red geraniums!:)

Hi Mary, your garden sounds lovely. I'm a big fan of container gardens (although not on my allotment!) because I live in rented accomodation, so should I need to move I can take all my well nurtured plants with me!
I do have some bedding plants in the front garden but only ones that are easily propogated :thumb:
