a nordic walker!

purchased a Nordic Walker exercise machine for the wife today!. it was a self assembly drive you round the bend thing it took me all afternoon and up to tea time to build the damn thing:(. around about 3 o clock she asked me if her Nordic Walker was built!!! by this time the steam was coming out my ears. not to appear rude i told her "put on your heavy snow boots ,go for a Nordic walk round the town for a couple of hours and it will be ready when you return" :thumb:
it was . she is on the machine now skating down the Alps:wink:
i can hear her "yodeling":hehe: music.

i will try to describe a Nordic Walker.have you ever watched the movements of winter athletes when they are doing the walking marathon on ski's?. they walk on ski's using their ski poles for leverage,left right ,left right. well this is a machine that simulates those movements. you step onto the pedals simulating ski's,grab hold of the handles,simulating ski poles, and with the proper music you are skiing down the mountains of Norway! losing lots of calories in the process.:skp:



ONLY PROBLEM ,MY WIFE HAS A RESERVE PACK OF MARS BARS HANDY

AFTER THE EXERCISE SHE HAS TO BUILD UP HER STAMINA FOR THE NEXT TRIP TO
NORWAY:hehe::hehe::hehe: MUSIC.

 

Ahhhh yes, I have seen them now come to think of it.

went for my first nordic walk tonight , GREAT .it is a good exercise not to strenuous .it seems to exercise all the body as you are using your leg muscles/abs/arms/back /ankles with the movement you are using your whole body in unison . will let you know later how i feel in the morning when i get up:skp: music.

 

Great exercise machine, i can recommend this machine for indoor exercise . it is strong, a good design, robust , not to light, does not shake/vibrate with your weight ,makes you feel secure when you are doing your exercise. 100% recommended ,and i am not on commision
