A quick hello

Just thought I'd better pop in here and introduce myself properly. My name's Leigh (the female kind), and I live in Cleveland in North-East England, although I'm actually Welsh.

I've got a small front and back garden, but can only really do things with the front as my cocker spaniel 'fetches' any new plants I put out the back, and 'helps' me dig and weed if I start doing either of those things in front of me. I've got a totally useless pond built by the previous owner which will be filled in and done properly at some point in the distant future when I have the money.

Apart from the hellhound, I and my partner keep and rescue (pet) rats, and we're currently down to 11. I run a small jewellery business, with an online shop and stalls at various fairs and shows. Apart from gardening and the zoo, hobbies include herbalism and reading.
