A Right Royal Visit QE2

The QE2 is sailing into tyneside on sunday 16th september,for a 40th Anniversary Tour, It will sail into tynemouth, north east coast around 4pm.
She will stay up the tyne overnight then will go to edinburgh, glasgow and Liverpool.
Will be there to take photos will put them up for everyone to view.

leaving at 3 having a lovely walk to tynemouth were i should get the pics of her sailing in around 4, will put them up when i get back.
its a bit cloudy here at the moment, sun peeking through so lets hope it keeps nice for taking these pics of this great ship.

 

just got back, they aborted QE2 sailing in to the piers due to the teribble winds and the tide not being high enough, managed to bring her in on the 4th attempt, weather changed to sunny skies.
Absolutely fantastic what a beautiful ship, got loads of fab photos, just uploading them now, the fireworks were let off, 40,000 people turned up, great.well worth the wait, wind and rain.
