    I translated this and read right through, everyone loves this thread, don't they, they're all praising you :)

    I'm not a fan of cacti and succulents but they look very good there, it reflects the arrid nature of that area/place, some of the other plants take my fancy .... was the dark reddish one with the curled edges a type of coleus ? I think i saw some stachys and what looked like a jasmine flower on one plant - it could have been a cactus flower though.

    for instanct translation, if you have GOOGLE TOOLBAR:

    you click that blue tool on the right

    then you go >options>tools>translate

    and there you can set the option to translate "as you go" (as you hover over a single word or highlight a paragraph), which if you read here and there is much more practical than transalting the whole page.


    Glad you like it LouiseD, and as you said it does reflect very well a typical vegatation of the Sicilian area, although I myself have never been there, but I know.

    Interesting to see a Plumeria in flower there.:)
