Here's a photo of my garage a few years ago :-

    Terrible isn't it,
I never used it, and eventually the driveway became untidy and looked a mess :nonofinger:

So, since I never used the garage, I decided to get rid of the concrete drive, and replace it with a nice flower bed ...
... and a slab of cracked concrete is no good to anyone anyway.

First of all, I had a new roof put on the garage, and I got the doors bricked up, and a window put in their place (because I use it for something else now)
and I used the driveway for growing cuttings and tubs of potatoes

Then I started to 'build' a wall, by placing some bricks on top of each other.
I put them flat, and didn't use cement. I hoped their weight would hold them in place.

After I'd finished going all around, I ordered some topsoil to fill it up with :- :snork:

    It took 3 tons !

And then I levelled it out and planted some shrubs there, that I took from the 'main' garden :blue thumb:

(I had smashed the driveway up, to allow for drainage.)

All that was last year (2015)

This spring I have planted lots more there and it looks fuller.
    This was March :-

    This was April :-

The latest thing I've done to it is put a plastic netting along the back of it, for some Clematises and Sweet Peas :spinning:
However, I can not apparently add any more photos, so I'll show them in another place, maybe after the plants have grown up the mesh :snorky:

I hope you approve of my driveway transformation :yay:
