A variety of anonymous shrubs and climbers! Pt II

    ...and here are the climbing plants. Two of the pots have a couple of things growing in them, I would hazard a guess that one of the extra plants was a weed (climber 2), but in the other pot, the two are meant to be there? See what you think :heehee:

    Hi again,
    no.2 possibly the 'thug' that is Russian vine,
    no.3 & 4 some variety of Clematis?

      Thank you Bilbo, that's really helpful. I just googled Russian vine and it definitely sounds like something to be avoided, you have saved me from a potential problem there!

      I think 4 is a large-flowered clematis. I think 3 is a clematis but not one of the large flowered types, one of the lesser-grown species types, maybe. My first thought was that 1 was also a clematis, based on the leaves, but it also seems to have thick, woody stems.
