A VERY QUICK AMBLE AROUND IN MARCH

As an excuse try out posting pics on the new system, let's have a very quick amble around the Retreat in March:

I agree, the photos seem sharper and better colours.

 

The one thing we're missing on this new system is a Thank You button!!!

But I don't really need it ......because I can say THANK YOU this way and you know that I really mean it.

I know that I have posted pics of Armandii's Retreat before but, to be honest, I am always hesitant about posting such pics as because although, to me, my garden is my almost perfect paradise as other members gardens are to them, and even on a bleak Winters day still has an attraction to me it almost bewilders me that other gardeners would like it.

For me the garden has many good memories, successes and failures with plants over the years, it's evolved and changed subtly and continues to do so. It always seems to provoke idea's of "what if I did this or did that?" and give me those heart stopping moments when you catch the scent of a Shrub, plant or flower on a warm day that can take your mind back to another day or time. Best of all it gives me that gentle feeling of contentment when I sit in the Arbour with a mug of tea and just watch the bees, hover flies, butterflies and insects doing what they do. A mug of tea and a seat in the Sun is always available, my friends.
