    The Priests House, got attacked by a Chicken there once.

      But Henry VIII disolved the rest of it, must have taken a lot of Vinegar to do that.

      These steps lead to a room above the porch called a Parvise. They were often used as a school room.

          Thatchers are too scared to go there, because of the chickens. They did the house next door though & put a straw Reindeer on the top over Christmas:biggrin:

            Thatched cottages are very pretty, but if I owned one I'd be permanently paranoid. Fancy having a very flammable roof.
