aboretum in Berkshire

Hi all

Does anyone know if there are any aboretum in Berkshire?

One of my collegues said she had been to one but couldn't remember the name of it.

Can anyone help?

Yeah, I only learned this word today! Aparently it means tree zoo.

 

bubbly,my hubby tells me its a posh word for a park I learn something every day. he also tells me there is no aboretum in berkshire but there is one in Walsall. he is a train spotter and goes round country, boring hobby. FANCY

 

Hi, bubbly! I've always known an aboretum as a tree park, as such! Not very helpful, I'm afraid! You are in Oxfordshire ... there's the Harcourt Aboretum in Oxford and I've heard of another, but I thought that was Bucks/Oxon, more north of Oxford. I'll think about it and come back if I have anything more positive to say!
