the perception of your avatar from others viewing is different from yours.

We are talking about a very small picture and what you consider being an important detail may be totally invisible..

You may be very familiar with the subject in your avatar picture , but to others it may just appear an indistinct mix of colours.
In addition, it may be a mix of colours very similar to another one, to make matters worse.

So how does one solve that?
    Food for thought...

I put a lot of thought into mine. I spent quite a long time thinking, 'can I be bothered to choose an avatar?'. I thought and thought, then had a cup of tea instead. Since then I've thought about it again on a number of ocassions, then taken a swig of my beer, or gone outside to do five minutes digging. I've thought about it many times since.

So you can see, a lot of thought went into mine:)

I doubt that mine is similar to anyone else's. I just liked the picture in mine.

The interpretation of it is what really interests me. I'm not sure if I see it as evil stealing an innocent baby, or evil protecting an innocent baby. Although I guess that I kind of see it as both.

                  I also like this one.

I'm afraid that I also had no idea. I guess that you have to have an interest in the subject/company, and phones are right at the bottom of my list of interests.
