Noticed today that Aldi have Acers in large pots for £10.99, really nice specimens about 60-90cm high and quite a few varieties (impulse buy of a Palmatum Atropurpureum, though nowhere to put it, doh!), also really nice looking fruit trees about 8ft tall, apple, cherry, plum knocked down to £4.99. Not sure if available everywhere.

      Thanks GG

Bit late for planting out fruit trees, but, if they are in buckets they may be ok through the summer for Autumn planting.
