Acer Care & Brown Leaves

Hi

I have read other threads here and Googled my concerns but I don't know if the symptoms are the same as mine by looking at the leaves.

My Acer is planted in a large pot, it is sheltered from the wind quite well and has plenty of daylight and sun shine during the late morning to afternoon, but it has always had the leaves tinged brown at the tips.

Could you advise me what I am doing wrong please.

 

Hi @weedaway could it be scorch? I thought acers preferred a bit of shade, and pale leaves like that are prone to being frazzled.
