I have just bought this plant and planted it in a ceramic pot filled with multipurpose compost and horticulture grit for drainage. I s it necessary to feed it every couple of weeks or wait untill all the fertilizer in the compost has been exhausted after 6 weeks. Next year is it a good idea to incorporate some slow release fertilizer pellets into the compost or feed every couple of weeks?

`potty, Ive had acer pal.diss.atro in a pot for about 10 years. It gets fed about once a year, if I remember, and it is thriving. The person who will really know, though is Whis4ey.
