acer question

    do acers like the same soil conditions as azaleas, rhodedendrons, etc

    Personally I don't think they are too fussy about soil types, but they need good drainage. I have a few around the garden, and one in the ericaceous bed, and they all seem to be in the same shape.

    I have many different acers and they just seem to get on with it.
    No speicial soil feed or treatment.
    I have many azaleas as well.
    They also grow very well with out any speicial care.
    Maybe we just have the right kind of soil.
