Acer Replanting

I have 5 in pots outside, about 2ft tall. Do I need to think about repotting from their present 9" pots and when is the best time if I do? At the moment they are still outside, but with fleece bags over them as I lost 3 last winter to frost etc.

Have a check to see if they are getting pot bound first. Now is a good time to do anything, while the trees are dormant.
