    Hi,
Got given an acer last year and it took a bit of a pasting over the winter to the point I thought it was dead but has started to come back to life.
Have repotted in some acid based compost but was wondering what best to feed them with to get the best out of it.
Also is it a good idea to trim back any shoots without leaves on them.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers Marc

Acers always look dead in winter as they are dicidious, I would just cut off any brown dead looking tips and if you've just repotted it then I would'nt feed it for a couple of months, they don't need alot of food as they are very slow growing :D
