We camped about five miles away from the hydroponicum, on one of the most beautiful campsites I have ever had the pleasure to camp. The views were absolutely magnificent - but that's another thread!

The Hydroponicum comprises several large 'greenhouses' where all the plants - fruit/veg/exotics/indoor and garden plants are grown without the use of soil. An amazing place, I had left my camera in the tent(tsk!), but grabbed it when we went back on our last day for lunch around the lilypond. I ate hydoponically grown tomatoes (red, yellow and green) which were absolutely delicious!

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area (though it is about 20 miles along a single track road, the scenery is out of this world!)
