Acme Fly Trap , Anyone ?

    We had a 6ft corn snake...who got ready for the attack on me one night and hubby received it with a good grab...mind you in the end it did escape up the chimney :whistle:

          I find this amazing. We have screens in place on our windows from spring to winter. The only flies we get in the house are the ones who hitchhike in with me.

          And I am clean! Really I don'tattract flies usually... :heehee:

                I spent the afternoon putting up flyscreens on the exterior doors. We've had them on the windows for years but flies, mossies and wasps are a real nuisance this year, so the remaining French windows and doors are getting the treatment. Then sprayed with a barrier solution containing 2% cypermethrine. And pop-bottle traps containing a mix of jam, wine and water hung in strategic positions outside. Any canny fly that gets past that lot will get a quick smack with a flyswat :biggrin:

                  @HarryS I go for the old tried and tested trap myself for flys and then wasps I use a tiny drop of rice vinegar in it to keep the bees out.. Placed outside by open doors and windows has solved it for me
