    As title says,

I took cuttings from mine approx. 1 month ago, and I have left them in a clear pint glass, 3/4 full with water. They have grown lots of new foliage, and do not show any signs of getting weak, I noticed yesterday, some white nodules on the stem which is submerged in water ....

Will that be where the roots grow ?

    Any advice gratefully received.

    Nathan.

Could be Nathan, not tried myself so not sure but sometimes you do get something similar before roots start to form.

I think that you need a male and a female plants to get some fruits, although I don't know how to recognize them (and once they start bearing fruit, there is no stopping them and they can grow into a beautiful exotic pergola)
If I find out more information on the subject I will let you know____byyye

Pelargoniums, fibrous rooted begonias and fuschias always look like that just before the roots start to appear. I haven't tried Kiwi before but my guess is the roots should start to develop within a week.

Many soft tissue plants will root quite happily in plain water. The roots do tend to be brittle and easily damaged so I carefully pot them up in a good crumbly potting compost (1/4" mesh sieve) when the roots are about 1/2" -1" long.

    Nathan,

What part of the plant did you use as cuttings. The new fleshy stuff that has grown over the last few weeks look way too fresh to use?
