Hello, this is my first post so please be gentle!

Just had this Adams Laburnum delivered and would be grateful for help with a few questions.

    1. Generally does it look OK? It's nearly 6 feet tall and quite spindly looking, with not too much leaf coverage.

    2. We were planning to plant this out in autumn - just wondering if it would be OK to repot it in something larger for the next couple of months? It seems a small pot (9 inch) for the height and I'm a bit worried about it standing up to the wind.

    3. Are the brown spots/patches on the leaves anything to worry about?

    Thank you!

I've never tried this tree but its always interested me.

Personally I'd get it in the ground as quick as possible and stake it if necessary.

I'd not be over bothered about the brown spots .

Thanks Pete. Just a bit worried about summer temperatures / possible lack of rain, and we're going away for a couple of weeks in early August.

Well in that case it will be better in the ground rather than a pot.
A hose allowed to trickle at the base of the tree for an hour a couple of times a week if we get a drought:roflol:, should be enough.
