Adding ventilation to a fly away plastic greenhouse

    Any ideas on this other than leaving the flappy door open?

    If I leave the door closed it cooks everything and all the moisture disappears from the pots and trays pretty rapidly and if I leave it open it seems pretty pointless even owning it!

    Would love to get a glass greenhouse but not got anywhere to put it at the mo.

    I fitted a couple of 12" fans driven by a solar panel to mine last year:

    Helped a bit but ultimately it was so cold & damp last year nothing much came out of the blowaway & it ended up in the bin..

    It may seem pointless to leave the door open but you will be surprised how much of a difference a plastic green house can make. I overwintered a standard bottle brush plant in a pot with door open all the time. The previous one had died in the garden unprotected.

    Hmm, I suppose it does keep the wind chill factor off. Never thought of that!

    Is that done with computer parts? I can see a molex in there, ha.

    Yes indeed - along with the other standard engineering tools of cable ties & gaffa tape...
