Advice Needed Please

    I would like to drill two holes through one of these white concrete posts to enable me to fix my weather station to them with the appropriate bolts/nuts ,I have an electric drill and plenty of masonry bits,would this be at all possible,thank you:smile:

    If you can put it on hammer it'd make it easier, just bear in mind they'll have steel rods in them so you might need metal cutting drill bits too if you hit one :)

      Hi yes it is possible to drill through a concrete fence post, but sometimes there is a reinforcing bar in the middle.
      I would go slowly

          This is probably too late but a lot of concrete fence posts already have holes in them. They're in the channel that the fence panel drops into.

            Again may be too late . Drilling into a concrete post with a hammer drill can be difficult , I use an SDS type drill .
            You could hang them from a Postfix bracket . Not particularly cheap but it may avoid a difficult drilling job. ( Can't find them on Ebay )
