    Hi!

I'm looking for advice re a tree peony which I had at the front of my property (facing East) in a really large pot. It didn’t do well at all so after another failed summer I lifted it out and shoved in the compost bin. I was going through the bin today to put the contents in my new raised bed and the peony was alive and kicking and full of new growth! I’m a bit baffled. So I’ve lifted it out to have another go. What should I be doing?!

Thanks @Janet mahay I’ll try the advice above. Failing that, it can go live in the compost bin! :)

I've only got one type of tree peony, a yellow one , it self seeds and seems to grow and flower in all aspects .

I'm guessing yours didn't like the container, I tend to think they prefer a good root run.
