I wondered if some of you could give me some advice. I'm using my garden for my wedding reception on August 3rd, so would like as much flowering in my garden then as possible! The garden is new to me but I saw it last August and it had mostly just Phlox in flower. I can't spend (much) more money on putting new plants in, so wondered what I could do to prolong flowering in certain plants, or just tweek timing in others. Alternatively we can all take bets on which ones will be in flower on August 3rd!! My plants & their various stages are:

    - Foxgloves; flower stalks maturing and currently about 50cm tall, lower flowers threatening to open. One of my foxgloves is a bit ahead, at 1m tall & in flower, with new flower stalks nudging up from below.
    - Delphiniums; bought plants, planted out a few weeks ago. Flower buds just forming but no height on them yet
    - Geraniums (various); in flower. I presume I should dead-head them to prolong flowering?
    - Phlox (white, pink); about 70cm tall, none in flower yet (please hold on!!)
    - Poppies (some large); plants just appearing, no flower buds yet
    - Lavender; early flowering shoots just starting to grow, none in flower yet
    - Aquilegia (loads); mostly coming to the end of flowering now & setting seed. Shall I cut them back, will I get a 2nd flowering? Or let them go to seed?
    - Cosmos; grown from seeds, just getting 2nd row of leaves, so still very young!
    - Freesia bulbs planted out a couple of months ago - but will they make an appearance?!
    - Hollyhocks; still low on the ground & only planted out newbies about a month ago.
    - Climbing roses; just starting to flower, each has a few flowers. Presumably continue to deadhead them.

Any tips?! I hope something flowers on time!!
    Thanks x

No particular colour scheme - the bridesmaid's dresses are pale blue like the sky, but everything else is having a 'home made/countryside' feel (subtly different to the 'fake country homemade crafty stuff gallor style!), so any flowers that want to make an appearance will be welcome whatever the colour - love me, love my garden!!
