Have just come home with one of these from the Eden Project - couldnt resist it - and noted that it should be in a very well drained position - they suggested a rockery - but I would like to put it in a raised bed which also contains my new Tamarisk, a Yucca-type plant, a sedum and a choisia. Could I get away with planting it with lots of gravel?

I take mine in for the winter Marge so I grow it in a pot coz they don't like it too cold. In the ID area theres a thread about these posted by Hornbeam asking for identification. There's loads of stuff about it on there [IMG] [IMG]

Ta Windy - will look it up. Maybe I could keep it in a pot and just put it where I want it in the summer [IMG]
