African marigolds

    :hapydancsmil:Sowed this Saturday just past:

    and here they are peeping up already!

    When seedlings appear, should I take the cover off the propagator? Cover has vents that slide open to let some/more air in (not in shot). I worry they might cook with the cover left on; but leaving cover off lets them dry out.

    Is it a heated propagator? I'd take cover off to prevent mould. They're looking good so far, well done :)

      I remove all my seedlings from my electric propagator as soon as they appear or they become leggy, so I'd be inclined to do the same with yours.

        These are just parked on a windowsill in trays that have clear lids and a bit of headroom. @Loofah, agree about mould -- that happened one year with these plantable pots, they get soggy. So: off with the lids! :thumbsup:
