I have 3 growing at the moment, they are very slow though. The biggest is only 18 inches after 3 years, but the leaves are almost full size now so I'm expecting a growth spurt next year.

Are you talking about Albizia or Jacaranda, Rich?

I've just planted my Albizia seeds, first time for me!

Two years ago when I did Jacaranda I had a 100% success rate, gave one away, kept one as a Bonsai and tossed the other couple, but then lost the Bonsai one through neglect! I have two Jacarandas, one about 30 foot tall (already cut back once) and the other about 20 foot tall. I bought them together, same height (about 5 foot) eight years ago.

    Have you tried the Cercis?

Hello the Lady of Portuguese Pleasure, I very much think I would appreciate some Albizia seeds - might well try to bonzai for the first time in my life. What is the species please? Albizia julibrissin seemingly being the only species to grow outdoors in UK. And, er, could you educate me as to what "PM" means please? Pre-menstrual, Prime Minister, pock-marked... None of these seem to fit the situation... [IMG] [IMG]

Goin to get goin on the salsa today, I would suspect! Many thanks!

Yes, Roy it would be the A julibrissin species.

PM means private message. On the line above your message, to the right are some symbols. The third from the left are two people shaking hands by a rather large envelope! :D Click on there and you will get another screen up just like these. Type in your message (in this case name and address) and soon some seeds will be winging their way to you!

This way it's only me who sees you address and not everyone else on the forum.
